So, we are here for you!  We are all in this together so please do not take for granted the seriousness of this life changing and for some life-threatening situation we are all part of.

Effective Friday, March 20, 2020,

The health and safety of our customers and staff is always our number one priority.  This has never been more important to our company than today. Our store is open, we have new product for sale and accepting bikes for repair during our regularly scheduled hours. We will take your bike in, process the repair, and call you for pick up.

We have taken steps to protect both you, our customer, and our staff.

  • We are following guidelines from the CDC and governmental authorities. We are maintaining best practices for sanitation and health safety.

  • All hard surfaces, door handles, bathrooms, phones, computers and countertops are cleaned regularly from business open to business close.

We are practicing social distancing amongst staff and customers. For the protection of the health and safety of our staff members and customers, we are limiting access to the shop to only three customers at any one time.

We have roped off our show room.  If you need to see or purchase a product from our show room then we can help by bringing the product over to you in a designated area.

While in the store, we ask that customers abide by current CDC guidelines with regards to social distancing and spacing between people.

  • All bikes taken on test rides are cleaned after each ride.

  • Bike fitting has been suspended.

  • Any staff member that has any indication of symptoms is to stay home for both their safety as well as the safety of others.

We appreciate your patience during this challenging time.

Stay tuned to our website and social media for any changes to shop hours or accessibility.

Our Story

Custom builds and wheels are our thing.

In the mid 1980's, A bicycle racer named Ken Glick was building wheels out of his home for friends & local racers. Friends would ask him for advice on buying frames and bikes. So after receiving certification from The New England Cycling Academy, he decided to open a small store in 1987 and catered to the "racer" custom style. Over the years Pro-Form Bike Shop has stayed current on the latest trends.  It is that dedication along with expert execution that sets us apart from the others.

For the safety of all, we can only accommodate 3 waiting customers at a time. Please be prepared to wait outside if necessary.

We are all navigating uncharted waters. Here at Pro-Form Bike Shop we are grateful to be allowed to stay open as essential transportation service providers, we are naturally extremely concerned about protecting our health, and the health of our customers and community.

Under the current guidelines from Governor Holcomb and the CDC, we will continue to operate during our normal business hours. However, we will be monitoring the developments closely, and will adjust, or even close the shop, should conditions warrant. While we’re open, we’ve instituted a rigorous safety protocol in order to minimize contact and keep everyone safe and healthy.

Safe distancing is enforced: 6 feet rule along with only 3 customers allowed in at one time.

We have implemented the use of nitrile gloves and face masks by shop personnel when handling customers’ bikes, merchandise, paperwork or processing payments.  We disinfect pens and surfaces before & after use.

The show-room area is cordon off and not accessible to customers. Shop personnel will assist you with getting any merchandise you might need.

If you’re shopping for a bicycle:

  •  One of our experts will assist you with that process.

  • We’ll help you determine the correct bike and any accessories for your desired riding experience.

  • If you’re test-riding a bicycle, we’ll disinfect the touchpoints on the bike prior to your use and provide nitrile gloves for your test ride. Please bring your own helmet. We will not be using shop test-ride helmets. Each bike will again be disinfected after use.

We want to emphasize that bicycles remain one of the best ways to get around and are a terrific autonomous transportation option. In addition, cycling promotes fitness and physical and mental health, and allows us to enjoy the benefits of open spaces, fresh air and sunshine, which is of paramount importance under the current uncertain circumstances.

We are heartbroken for our business neighbors who have been forced to close. We feel incredibly fortunate to be able to continue to provide goods and services that enhance the health and well-being of individuals and communities during this time. Thank you for your support!
